Overview & Challenge

The organisation needed clear, trustworthy, and culturally aware messaging that would support sustainability education and community engagement across the Solomon Islands. Their early materials felt fragmented, and the tone shifted between formal and casual. They needed language that felt grounded, consistent, and respectful of both local communities and the natural environment.


Approach

We developed a full brand language system that focused on clarity, gentle rhythm, and accessible environmental messaging. The copy was shaped to reflect island values, stewardship of land and sea, and the desire to guide communities toward sustainable choices. Visual direction elements supported the written work through natural colour cues, calm spacing, and clean typography. The framework included value statements, headline structures, supporting paragraphs, and micro copy that could be used across print, digital, and community outreach materials.


Highlights

Verdant began with scattered tone, uneven visuals, and a challenge to speak about sustainability without overwhelming the reader. Through focused voice design and a calm visual identity system, the brand gained clarity, cohesion, and a more welcoming presence across digital and print applications.


Result

Verdant now has a cohesive and reliable voice that can grow with the organisation. The messaging provides structure for future campaigns and allows team members to communicate with confidence and consistency.
